Do you anything about Amish ?Now a days, It the most stronge religious group in the World. Amish was founded by Jacob Ammann who from in Switzeland at 16. centruies. Amish people accept basic Christian  beliefs but also have some special interpretalions and emphases that have emerged throughout their history. They migrated from Europe to North America in the 18. and 19. centruies. They live technological country but they decline a technology. This do special them. Today, they live in 463 geographical settlements in 30 states and the Canadian pravince of Ontario. Their population totals approximately 273,700 their unique practices make them one of American's the most interesting and colorful religious subcultures. We want to talk about Amish's family,education, dress and technology.

Amısh's Family

The family is the most important social unit in the Amish culture. Large families with seven to ten children are common. There are too many rules in the social life of this community. Firstly, Amish community of men and woman aren't an equel.The man usualy works  on he farm, while the wife does the washing, cleaning, cooking and other household chores. There are exceptions, but typcally the father is considered the head of the Amish household. German is spoken in the home, though English is also taught in school. Amish marry Amish -no intermarriage is allowed. Divorce is not permitted and separatin is very rare.Young Amish be free when 16  years ago and they live without Amish village with technology. They do wanting to everything. For example somebody use drug. After that, they choose themselves religious and their life style. %93of they come back their village and they are baptized.

Education

The Amish believe the importance of education but they receive training until the age of 14. they learn reading, writing, math and geography. Amish school is one room and it was created by Amish family. Education is very important for Amish children.

 

 

Amish clothes

Symbolic of their faith, Amish clothing styles encourage humility and separation from the world. The Amish dress in a very simple style, avoiding all but the most basic ornamentation. Clothing is made at home of plain fabrics and is primarily dark in color. Amish men in general wear straight-cut suits and coats without collars, lapels or pockets. Belts are forbidden, as are sweaters, neckties and gloves. Young men are clean shaven prior to marriage, while married men are required to let their beards grow. Mustaches are forbidden. Amish women typically wear solid-color dresses with long sleeves and a full skirt, covered with a cape and an apron. They never cut their hair.  their shoes are  black. Amish women are not permitted to wear patterned clothing or jewelry

 

Amish and Technology

The Amish are averse to any technology which they feel weakens the family structure. they don't use electrical, automobile, telephone and computer. Most Amish live in houses without electricity. they produce their own electricity which their need. It is sometimes used in certain situations, such as electric fences for cattle, flashing electric lights on buggies, and heating homes.  they use to phaeton. It is common for Amish communities to allow the use of telephones, but not in the home. That's really interesting.
